FLEX Car Rentals is a Tanzanian car rental and mobility company based in Dar es Salaam, offering self drive and chauffeur assisted vehicle rental to individual and corporate customers across the city and beyond. Whether you need a car for an afternoon, a driver for a business trip, or a vehicle for months at a time, we structure the rental around your schedule, not the other way around.
Our fleet ranges from compact hatchbacks and family wagons to SUVs and an executive van, so there is a practical option whatever the trip. Every vehicle can be booked self drive or with a professional chauffeur.

Do I need to pay a security deposit?
Yes. The deposit is refundable and is only deducted from for things you are responsible for, such as damage, missing items, a fuel shortfall, a late return, unpaid fines, or a breach fee, and we show you the evidence first.
Can I drive outside Dar es Salaam?
Everyday driving in and around Dar es Salaam is no problem. For trips outside the city, to another region, into a national park, or across a border, just tell us in advance so we can authorize it in writing. Unauthorized travel outside the approved area carries a fixed USD 300 penalty plus a per kilometer charge based on fuel consumption and the fuel price at the time.
What if I need to cancel or end the rental early?
Cancelling or ending the rental before the agreed date, sub hiring the vehicle, or handing it to someone not named on the Agreement carries a charge of 30% of the total rental fee for the period you booked, in addition to any other losses.
What is the fuel policy?
Return the vehicle with the same fuel level you received it, or we will charge the shortfall plus a small refuelling service fee.
Can I hire a car with a driver instead of self drive?
Yes. Every vehicle in our fleet can be booked self drive or with a professional chauffeur, whichever suits your trip.
How do I book, and how do I pay?
Reach us on WhatsApp or by phone with your dates and preferred vehicle. We confirm availability and send a clear quote, and payment is made through our official mobile money or bank channels only, never to a personal number.
